Each article submitted to the editorial staff will be selected through an Initial Review process by the Editorial Board. The article will then be sent to peer reviewers and will proceed to the next stage of the Blind Preview Process. Afterward, the article will be returned to the author for revision. This process takes a maximum of one month. Each manuscript will be assessed by peer reviewers based on both substantial and technical aspects. The peer reviewers collaborating with the Journal of Basic Education Indonesia are experts in public administration and related issues. They are experienced in managing leading journals and publications nationally and internationally.

All manuscripts submitted are submitted by the editorial staff. Manuscripts deemed by the editors to not meet the journal's criteria are immediately rejected without external review. Manuscripts deemed potentially interesting to our readers are sent for double review. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewers' recommendations from among several options: reject, require revision, or accept.

The editors have the sole authority to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published.
