Author Guidelines

Authors must submit manuscripts online first register as authors to the website https://e-jurnal.rokania.ac.id/index.php/jictas

For each article submitted, the author is obliged to follow the terms and conditions in accordance with the Style Guide Journal of ICT Applications System (can be downloaded on the Style Guide page)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHOR

Originality of the Manuscript: The manuscript must be an original scientific work, never published before, and not being submitted to other media/journals.

  • Type of Manuscript: Can be research results (field/literature), conceptual ideas, theory application, or critique in the fields of social sciences, humanities, and technology.
  • Language of the Manuscript: The manuscript can be written in Indonesian or English.
  • Formatting: Use Times New Roman font size 12, single spacing, and one-column format.
  • Abstract:
    • Written in both Indonesian and English.
    • Word count: 100-150 words.
    • The English abstract is typed in italics with font size 10.
    • The abstract must include: background of the problem, research objectives, theories and methods, findings or novelty of ideas, and main conclusions.
  • Author's Name:
    • Author's name should be written without academic titles.
    • If the manuscript is written by a team, the editor will communicate only with the main author or the first listed author.
  • Structure of the Manuscript: The manuscript is divided into five sections in the following order:
    1. Introduction: Includes problem introduction, literature review, research objectives, and benefits of the research.
    2. Method: Describes the research method used, including materials, equipment, and procedures employed in the analysis or research.
    3. Results and Discussion: Presents the results of the research or analysis and can be subdivided into sub-chapters.
    4. Conclusion: Summarized form, and if necessary, each paragraph containing conclusions can be numbered serially.
    5. Bibliography: Arranged alphabetically following the APA Citation Style.
  • References:
    • Use the Mendeley application to assist in the inclusion of references.
    • The references should primarily include research reports or articles published in scientific journals/magazines in the last 10 years.
    • Citation format should follow the (author, year) reference technique.
  • Page Length:
    • Articles: 5-7 pages.
    • Review manuscripts: 5-7 pages.
    • Obituary manuscripts: 3-5 pages.
  • Article Format: The article must comply with the Rokania Education Journal Style Guide.
  • Submission Status: Articles that have not been published in any media and are not being submitted to other journals.
