The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the drill method to improve the learning outcomes of volleyball bottom passing for grade V students of SD Negeri 009 Kefullan. The subjects of the study consisted of 20 students. The instrument used to measure the success of teacher and student activities in teaching and learning activities is by using observation sheets, while to measure student learning outcomes are cognitive, affective and psychomotor tests. This research was carried out in two cycles. The stages in this study follow the classroom action research procedure, namely: (1) planning, (2) implementation of actions, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the activities and learning outcomes of grade V students of SD Negeri 009 Fullness using the drill method showed maximum results, where in the first cycle the level of completeness of teacher activities in carrying out new learning activities. . The results of the first cycle test were obtained as many as 14 people who were complete or 70% and 6 people or 30% who were incomplete based on these data, it can be said that there was an increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes in cycle I. The results of the second cycle test showed 2 students who were incomplete or 10% and 18 people who were complete or 90% complete, this has exceeded the standard based on the minimum completeness criterion, which is 85%. . Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the drill method can improve the learning outcomes of volleyball bottom passing for grade V students of SD Negeri 009 Kefullan, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau
