Abstrak

This service aims to see an increase in students' social studies learning outcomes through the implementation of the Make A Match Type Cooperative model. From initial data, student learning outcomes were still low, from 21 students, only 48% of students completed and 52% of students did not reach the KKM set by the school of 70. The subjects in this service were class IV students at SD Negeri 009 Bonai Darusalam, totaling 21 students. Data collection techniques use tests and observations. The results of the research show that before implementing the Make A Match Cooperative model in social studies learning, 48% were complete while 58% were incomplete. After researching the learning outcomes in cycle I, meeting 1, it was 48%, in cycle I, meeting II, it increased to 57%, in cycle II, meeting 1, it was 71% and in cycle I, meeting I, it increased to 83%. Research on the application of the Make A Match type cooperative model to improve social studies learning outcomes for class IV students at SD Negeri 009 Bonai Darusalam can be said to be successful.
